Summary

We are seeking a Data Engineer that has experience with the Azure cloud toolset who can build out a presentation layer for analytics and adhoc queries. Will also work with the current team managing the existing environment consist of Microsoft tools like SSIS, SSRS, SQL Server etc., Healthcare experience in Medicare/Medicaid is a plus.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for collecting, moving, storing, and preparing data for analytics enablement
  • Solution design using Microsoft Azure services and related tools
  • Be part of design team for enterprise data models and Data solutions
  • Specification of ELT pipelines, data integration and data migration design, with low code no code tools
  • Design & implementation of Master data management solutions
  • Working within a project management/agile delivery methodology in a leading role as part of a wider team Identify and test for bugs and bottlenecks in the ETL solution
  • Ensure the best possible performance and quality in ETL processes
  • Provide support and fix issues in ETL Production loads
  • Ability to develop entity relationships (ER models) for normalized and dimensional schemas is a plus
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

 

  • Expert knowledge of Visual Studio and SQL Integration Services 2012 or higher
  • Expert in working within a SQL Server database environment with the SQL Server 2012 or higher
  • Experience should include at least 5+ years of experience developing ETL, SSIS etc.,
  • 3+ years of Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks and/or other Azure data tools
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud data warehousing platforms specifically Azure Synapse
  • Experience of business intelligence tools, specifically Power BI
  • Experience on development with data programming languages such as SQL, Python
  • Familiarity with CI/CD/source control processes and tools such as Azure DevOps and Git
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
