Summary

Curana Health seeks a diligent sales leader to serve as Regional Sales Director, supporting the VP Sales and Growth Strategy. This role will focus on building and growing a productive, efficient, and compliant team of independent sales agents, third-party referral sources, and key internal and external strategic partners to achieve assigned sales targets. They will translate market strategies into specific tactics with measurable goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Participate in the hiring, training, and development of a high performing sales team
  • Create and implement growth and development plans for direct reports
  • Coach and mentor sales team members by conducting weekly one on one meetings, side by side coaching, role playing, as well as other activities
  • Drive team to hit and succeed sales goals
  • Maintain sales enrollments and tracking on a weekly basis, additional ad hoc reporting as requested
  • Proficient at sales strategies; be capable of measuring and analyzing efforts
  • At times, coordinate with facility staff to effectively enroll residents into institutional special needs plans, successfully utilizing sales closing skills to drive enrollments
  • Assist in goal setting for respective market plans and agents
  • Assist in planning and leading annual sales training
  • Other duties as assigned by the VP
  • Lead by example, works well with others, takes on challenges head on

Qualifications

 

  • Health Insurance Producer License
  • Minimum 5 years selling Medicare Advantage Plans or similar sales product
  • Assertive and confident self-starter who is willing to travel to nursing facilities and/or on the job training for agents
  • Ability to build and analyze data, extract findings, and implement solutions
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills and ability to deliver presentations in an impactful manner
  • Organized, able to multi-task and succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, communicates effectively across sales team, health plan management, and provider partners
  • Capable of driving results, pushing agents to meet or exceed goals
  • Willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed
  • History of successful selling and/or leading successful sales teams
  • Proven understanding of CMS rules and regulations
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and best practices
  • Ability to travel up to 25% or as needed in your respective market
  • Ability to lead high visibility projects and/or implementations
  • Proven successful track record

 

EDUCATION

 

 

Bachelor’s Degree or comparable work experience
