We are seeking a Tennessee-licensed physician to serve as a Collaborating Physician for Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and/or Physician Assistants (PAs) providing healthcare services. This is primarily a non-clinical role with a focus on compliance, oversight, and collaboration, with minimal clinical duties. The ideal candidate will provide guidance, chart reviews, regulatory support, and periodic facility rounding in accordance with Tennessee state laws and practice requirements.
Provide collaborative oversight to NPs/PAs as required by Tennessee regulations.
Conduct periodic chart reviews to ensure compliance with state guidelines.
Be available for consultation and clinical support as needed.
Participate in quarterly or periodic meetings (virtual or in-person as required).
Conduct in-person rounding at assigned facilities once per month to maintain clinical engagement and support provider collaboration.
Assist with protocol development and ensure adherence to best practices.
Sign off on required documentation and maintain compliance with regulatory bodies.
Stay up to date on Tennessee medical board requirements for collaboration.
Active, unrestricted Tennessee medical license (MD or DO).
Minimum two years of clinical experience post-residency.
Must meet the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners’ supervision requirements for NPs/PAs.
No current board disciplinary actions or sanctions.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Familiarity with state laws and regulations governing NP/PA collaboration.

Flexible, remote position with minimal time commitment.
In-person rounding required once per month at designated facilities.
