Summary

As a Senior Strategy Associate, you will play a key role in shaping Curana Health’s product strategy and strategic initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Strategy, you will drive high-impact, cross-functional projects focused on new service line development, growth opportunities, strategic partnerships, and performance optimization. Additionally, this position will occasionally support the AI-Steering Committee in the development of the organization’s AI strategy. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on both early-stage (0-to-1) innovation and long-term strategic planning in one of the fastest-growing segments of healthcare.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead Strategic Projects: Own project management for new product development and strategic initiatives across the Medical Group.
  • Product Pipeline Management: Maintain and prioritize a pipeline of innovative service offerings, collaborating with clinical, operational, and financial stakeholders.
  • Business Case Development: Conduct market research, financial modeling, and ROI analysis to evaluate and prioritize new opportunities.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze operational and clinical data to identify trends, surface opportunities, and inform recommendations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate cross-functionally with medical leadership, operations, analytics, and finance to align on strategic initiatives.
  • Executive-Level Communication: Prepare presentations, dashboards, and briefing documents for Curana’s executive team and board.
  • Market & Policy Tracking: Monitor healthcare policy developments and senior care market dynamics to anticipate risks and inform strategy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2–3+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or a fast-paced healthcare startup.
  • Healthcare industry experience required. Knowledge of value-based care models (e.g., ACOs, Medicare Advantage, risk-bearing entities) preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills; proficiency in Excel, SQL, and PowerPoint is required. PowerBI or other BI tools a plus.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and deliver actionable insights in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a track record of developing executive-facing deliverables.
  • Passion for improving healthcare delivery and outcomes for underserved populations.
