Summary

At Curana Health, we’re on a mission to radically improve the health, happiness, and dignity of senior living residents. As a Senior Enrollment Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in that mission by ensuring our providers are properly enrolled and credentialed with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers—so they can focus on what matters most: delivering exceptional care to patients.

This position offers the opportunity to become a subject matter expert, mentor junior team members, and directly influence the efficiency and success of our provider operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have an eye for detail, and want to make a measurable impact on the business, this role is for you.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full enrollment process for new and existing providers across multiple medical groups.

  • Handle complex Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer enrollments—ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.

  • Maintain and update provider records in key systems (CAQH, PECOS, Availity, payer portals, and internal platforms).

  • Act as a trusted liaison between providers, administrators, and payers to resolve discrepancies and accelerate approvals.

  • Monitor application statuses and drive timely completions to avoid reimbursement delays.

  • Collaborate closely with credentialing, contracting, billing, and onboarding teams to ensure seamless provider activation.

  • Interpret and communicate payer updates and requirements to internal stakeholders.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement by developing and refining SOPs for enrollment.

  • Uphold compliance with CMS, HIPAA, and state/federal regulations in every step of the process.

  • Mentor junior enrollment staff, sharing knowledge and best practices to strengthen the team.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of provider enrollment experience, ideally within a large multi-specialty or value-based care group.

  • Expert knowledge of Medicare (PECOS, NPPES), Medicaid, and commercial payer enrollment processes.

  • Proficiency with CAQH ProView, Availity, and payer portals.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills—you know how to navigate complex situations and keep things moving.

  • Tech-savvy, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and enrollment tracking tools.
